Philosophy of KITE Coaching
In western society, children are nurtured from infancy through early tweens at which time, there are changes in our behaviours that show expectations of thought, language and actions.
Nurture, within KITE coaching, is held in love and a continuum from infancy through adulthood. As an adult reaches out to the 1 year old as she is taking that first step, those same hands are held out as the child steps into the knowledge that teenage years are right around the corner or that adulthood looms beyond the number 18.
Coaching supports the beginning empowerment the toddler feels, when looking to the adult for reassurance, before taking that first step. Coaching supports the child transitioning into tween years, as the child looks back for reassurance that the parent is still there, supportive through the physical and physiological changes. Coaching supports the teen into adulthood as the learning from the past enhances current learning while getting clarity for the best path to take in forming the first building blocks into adulthood.
KITE coaching is supporting, with love and presence, our children to retain, maintain and grow their own empowerment to live a happy and fulfilling life.
